Foreign investment in Dubai's real estate sector reached record highs in 2021:
38,318 investors made 51,553 investments worth $27 billion. It was previously announced that Dubai would host the International Property Show (IPS), which will bring together local and international developers with investors from around the world.
Bukhatir Group, based in Sharjah, has announced a $5 billion project in Tunisia.
The project includes:
- Complex of villas
- Hotels
- Sports academies
- Golf courses
Area – 2.5 million m²
DP World, a global port operator based in Dubai, has announced record numbers for 2021.
Compared to 2020:
- Revenue increased by 26% (up to $10.77 billion)
- Shareholder profit increased to $1.1 billion
- Container-generated revenues increased by 18.7% (up to $4.6 billion)
- Gross (TEU) increased by 9.4%
