An expert talks about discounts for buyers of property in Harbour Lights

The first 30 buyers of apartments in the waterfront residential complex Harbour Lights are entitled to a 2% discount on title registration, says Ruslan Sharipov, a broker at the AX CAPITAL agency.

This project with one- to three-bedroom apartments and premium amenities will be situated on the waterfront, yet the prices of properties in Harbour Lights are considerably lower than the average market value of homes in similar locations. For instance, residences in the beachfront Nikki Beach community are 2-2.5 times more expensive, in Port De La Mer, 1.5 times, and in Ellington Beach House, 5.5 times more expensive.

The cheapest apartment in Harbour Lights costs AED 1.32 million (USD 359,500). The buyer will also need to pay a 4% registration fee to the Dubai Land Department (DLD).

“The first 30 people to register their interest [in buying apartments in Harbour Lights] are entitled to a 2% discount on title registration, i.e., they will pay only 2%, not 4% of the property value,” the expert explains.
