Dubai's population grew by over 100,000 in 2023.
According to Dubai Statistics Center data, on December 17, 2023, the population reached 3.65 million, compared to 3.55 million on January 1, 2023.
Golden Visas and mega events such as COP28 raised the profile of the UAE and Dubai among global investors.
According to the Swiss bank, UBS's, Billionaire Ambitions Report 2023:
– Number of UAE billionaires rose from 10 to 17
– 5 billionaires moved to the UAE in 2023 + 2 are newly made
Free public Wi-Fi has been launched across Abu Dhabi.
The coverage across the emirate includes:

- Public Parks
The move is part of the Department of Municipalities and Transport's (DMT) strategy supporting Abu Dhabi's smart city development.
The Abu Dhabi Environment Agency has planted 44 million mangrove trees since 2020.
It is part of the initiative to plant 100 million mangroves by 2030 to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
