First NFT collection and solar energy project

A new initiative, NextGenFDI, to increase foreign direct investment has been announced by the UAE Government

As part of the initiative, incentives will be introduced:

• Faster business set-up process
• Streamlined visa applications
• Access to financial products

In phase 1 of the initiative, the UAE aims to attract 300 digital companies within 6-12 months.

Etihad Airways will launch first NFT collection EY-ZERO1

The goal is to use the proceeds to buy sustainable aviation fuel. The collection will have 10 detailed 3D aircraft models with unique designs. NFT holders will receive an airline membership for a 1 year.

Clean energy company, Emerge will set up a solar energy project at the SeaWorld Abu Dhabi theme park

Yas Island The project will have solar photovoltaic systems on rooftops with a total capacity of 8.2 megawatts. The park will be completed in 2022. It will feature the world's largest aquarium.
