Dubai residential capital values jumped in December 2021 according to the ValuStrat Index (VPI).
In December 2021, VPI increased by 16.6% compared to December 2020. This is the highest rate since 2014. Compared to November 2021 VPI increased for: Villas – by 2.5% Apartments – below 1% Areas with the highest annual capital gains: Villas Arabian Ranches – 36.5% Jumeirah Islands – 36.3% The Lakes – 33.6% Apartments Palm Jumeirah – 19.4% JBR – 15.6% Burj Khalifa – 10.2%
From January 3 to January 7, 2022, 1,766 property transactions worth $1.8 billion were recorded in Dubai.
On the first working Friday, January 7, 227 transactions worth $690 million were recorded. Of these, 173 sales transactions worth $648 million:
- 12 land plots worth $122.8 million
- 161 apartments and villas worth $525 million
