Residential capital values rose in January 2022.

Dubai residential capital values rose in January 2022 according to the ValuStrat Index (VPI). In January 2022, VPI rose by 1.1% compared to December 2021: For villas – by 2% For apartments – by 0.4% Compared to January 2021, VPI rose by 17.8%. Areas with the highest annual capital gains: Villas Jumeirah Islands – 39.1% Arabian Ranches – 38.5% The Lakes – 36.3% Apartments Palm Jumeirah – 20.9% JBR – 17.1% Burj Khalifa – 12.1%

The highest results of property transactions in 2021

According to the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, the Emirate has recorded the highest results of property transactions in 2021:

  • 84,238 transactions worth $7.1 billion

Compared to 2020:

  • Volume of transactions rose by 30.7%
  • Value rose by 64.9%

This is a record value of transactions since 2008. The highest value of transactions in 2021 was registered in February – $953 million. Sources: ValuStrat, Gulf News
