The first of its kind law regulating virtual assets has been passed by the Dubai Government.
It is designed to:
- Develop the sector
- Provide protection for all investors
Virtual assets include:
- Cryptocurrencies
- Non-fungible tokens (NFTs)
An independent authority to oversee the development of the best business environment for virtual assets has also been established, in terms of:
- Regulation
- Licensing
- Governance
- Oversight of compliance with local and global financial systems
From March 11 – 13, 2022, Dubai will be hosting one of the most significant exhibitions and fairs in the Middle East, Art Dubai.
Madinat Jumeirah Dubai More than 100 works will be presented at the exhibition. Planned expositions in art galleries and outdoors. Sources: Zawya, The National News
