Dubai is world's most popular tourist destination for 2022 according to the Travelers' Choice Awards: The Best of the Best Destinations, released by TripAdvisor travel platform. The rating is based on the reviews of travelers, collected over 12 months. Dubai is ahead of such global cities as:

- Paris
- Rome
Ski Dubai named 'World's Best Indoor Ski Resort' for a record-breaking 6 years in a row.
It was announced at the World Ski Awards on January 19, 2022. Ski Dubai was nominated amongst internationally-recognized indoor ski resorts across:
- China
- Egypt
- Germany
- Spain, etc.
