$100.7 million Venture Debt Fund for Startups has been set up in Dubai.
Key goals:
- Up to $817 million contribution to UAE GDP by 2030
- Up to 8,000 jobs created
The fund is under the financial centre, DIFC Supervision, where a 3-year Courts plan (https://t.me/axcapital_uae/1555) was previously formed.
Construction of UAE's first waste-to-energy plant was completed in Sharjah.
The 80,000m² plant will help divert up to 300,000 tonnes of waste each year and will provide energy to power 28,000 homes. This is part of the Net Zero 2050. The plant in Sharjah is central to its plans to become the Middle East's first zero-waste city.
From April 29 to May 9, 2022, Emirates is preparing to welcome 700,000+ passengers in Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport (DXB).
