- World Government Summit in Dubai at Expo 2020 and the first mountain nature reserve in Fujairah, UAE
World Government Summit will take place in Dubai from March 29 – 30, 2022.
Expo 2020 The summit will host more than 4,000 participants from 190 countries. The key goal is to form a government strategy until 2032, by harnessing technology and digital transformation. The summit will include 110 interactive sessions with:
- High-level officials
- Representatives of international organisations
- Private sector leaders, etc.
The first mountain nature reserve, UAE’s Wadi Wurayah National Park in Fujairah
Has been added in the country’s tentative list of nominations for UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Area – 220 km² The nature reserve is home to at least 860 species of plants and animals. Among them:
- Rare mammals
- UAE’s only native orchid, Veratrifolia Epipactus
