A key change to UAE labor law allowing children aged 15 and above to take on part-time jobs is set to boost business and empower youths, experts have said. Changes to law were first outlined in November 2021. Among them:

• Relaxed visa rules for jobseekers
• Ability to live in the UAE for up to 6 months after leaving a job
• Issuance of 12 types of work permits, etc.
