An initiative to reduce government fees
An initiative to reduce government fees announced by the Dubai's Department of Finance as part of the Public Revenue Structuring Programme. The move was announced after the UAE introduced federal corporate tax on the profit of businesses on Monday, January 31. In 2021, Dubai reduced or cut fees of 88 services provided by Government entities.
The UAE recorded a moderate rise in inflation.
According to the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre:
- Consumer Price Index in 2021 reached 108.6.
This is 2.5% more than in 2020.

According to the study by UK-based Lenstore: 1 place – Vienna 2 place – Dubai 3 place – Copenhagen The report studied 44 cities. Key metrics:
- Pollution level
- Sunshine hours
- Life expectancy, etc.
