UAE Extends Grace Period for Visa Amnesty Participants

The United Arab Emirates has extended the grace period for foreign nationals participating in the visa amnesty program. Those who have violated residency rules now have until October 31, 2024, to leave the UAE without incurring penalties.

Previously, exit permits for amnesty participants were valid for 14 days. However, in response to high demand and to give foreign nationals more time to regularize their status, the authorities have decided to extend the permit validity until the end of the program.
