Merger of Six Hotels into a Major Resort

Aldar and IHG Hotels & Resorts to Transform Six Hotels on Yas Island into a Large-Scale Resort

Aldar and IHG Hotels & Resorts have signed a franchise agreement that will help transform six hotels on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, into one integrated resort under the Vignette Collection brand.

Set to be one of the largest resorts in the region, it will feature several themed hotels, each offering its own distinct design and atmosphere.

The partnership between Aldar and IHG Hotels & Resorts will expand the international hotel network's presence in the UAE. IHG currently operates 33 hotels across four brands in the country, with plans to open nine more in the coming years.
