The law regulating virtual assets and Art Dubai exhibition

The first of its kind law regulating virtual assets has been passed by the Dubai Government.

It is designed to:

• Develop the sector
• Provide protection for all investors

Virtual assets include:

• Cryptocurrencies
• Non-fungible tokens (NFTs)

An independent authority to oversee the development of the best business environment for virtual assets has also been established, in terms of:

• Regulation
• Licensing
• Governance
• Oversight of compliance with local and global financial systems

From March 11 – 13, 2022, Dubai will be hosting one of the most significant exhibitions and fairs in the Middle East, Art Dubai.
