Tourist Traffic Between the UAE and Uzbekistan Continues to Grow

The Agency of Statistics of Uzbekistan reports that more Uzbek citizens are showing interest in vacationing in the UAE. In the first eight months of 2024, 81,400 tourists from Uzbekistan visited the UAE, marking an increase of 2,200 compared to the same period last year.

The main reason for these trips is leisure, with 73,595 people selecting the UAE as their holiday spot. The Emirates’ appeal comes from its upscale beaches, contemporary shopping centers, and varied cultural experiences.

This growing tourist exchange also helps strengthen economic and cultural relations between the two nations. A notable example is the recent introduction of direct flights connecting Tashkent with Al Ain, the fourth-largest city in the UAE. The newly introduced route, established through a partnership between EASYBOOKING and Air Samarkand under the Rotana Jet brand, provides passengers with comfortable travel conditions and a variety of services.
